"Degrees of Openness" is an ambient piece, taking inspiration from the unclear definions and false dychotomy of the human-made and innate. It combines field recordings of forest and river environments with glitch and plunderphonic editing techniques to construct an in-between sonic space of both artificial and natural origin. The soundtrack premiered in OT301, Amsterdam, in June 2023. Note: The piece was originally created as a sountrack for the documentary/anthropological film "Wall" (2023) directed by Or Shahaf. I prefer the piece to be considered separately, as I no longer wish to be associated with the film due to the director's position on the liberation of Palestine.
